Writing your request for a VA

 You will have strong success hiring the best VA as a business partner if you follow these guidelines:

 

1)  Know who you are.  Give us revelant information about your business and yourself.  The more we know the better we can answer your questions. 

2)  Provide complete contact information: e-mail address, website address, if available.  Give us your telephone contact number and identify best way and time to converse with you.

3)  Tell us about your needs for time.  Estimate, as best you can in Hours per day/or per week/or per month.  Advise if short term or long term project.  Let us know if you have a deadline to meet.

4)  Give us details about the work you need done.  Be specific and provide as much information up front to alieviate e-mails requesting additionalinformation.  Ask for any specific language requirements, and required testimonials, years of experience, and samples of work.

5)  Be sure to advise what the office set up requriements are for the VA.  Specify if specific data bases, computer programs etc. will be required to do your required assignment.

 

6)  Advise us where your VA is to be located.  What kind of telephone requirements are needed?  Are you looking for someone in a specific time zone?

 

7)  Research your VA respondents.  Visit their websites.  Research organizations they belong to.  Let them know if you'd like to conduct telephone interviews.  Sign a service agreement or contract with the choosen VA.
